Reclaimed Asphalt Shingles (RAS) has been a mainstream topic for more than 30 years, with limited success regarding economic and feasible solutions for it. The most common use involves adding RAS to Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) as a filler/binder additive for new asphalt roads. However, the search continues for a “better mousetrap”. Many have attempted to achieve success with new ideas, only to fall short. The fact is, an entire industry lies in wait for someone to finally solve that “highest and best use” problem. We at RASphalt look to solve that puzzle and revolutionize everything!
